Bio and Interests:
Dr. Giorgos Fagas has been coordinating the nanoelectronics activity in the Electronics Theory Group at Tyndall National Institute. He is currently the coordinator of the SiNAPS project (http://www.sinaps-fet.eu) within the initiative Towards Zero Power ICT of the EU's FET programme and in addition to NANO-TEC he is participating in the FET coordination action ZEROPOWER (http://www.zero-power.eu/). His expertise is in nanotechnology-enhanced electron device operation and a priori technology evaluation. in particular, transport and quantum effects in nanomaterials and low dimensional structures where he has developed simulation tools that constitute part of Tyndall’s IP portfolio on software. Giorgos has around 50 publications and has edited a reference book on "Molecular Electronics".
